Liz has worked in volunteer management for over 25 years. She is proud to work with a dedicated team of volunteer professionals at Froedtert and across the state. Liz earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New York University, and proudly completed Leadership Moving Forward in Menomonee Falls.

Marcia has worked with volunteers for over 15 years and has been a member of WAPHV for 9. Her favorite part of WAPHV is the friendships with other members. She loves having the ability to “phone a friend” as needed. Marcia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Masters in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University-Milwaukee. Her most notable achievement was serving as Co-President of WAPHV.

Blessing has been part of Volunteer Services overseeing volunteers and gift shops for almost 4 years with 21 years of customer service leadership before that. She’s very thankful for the relationships she’s made through the WAPHV as well as all of the advice and knowledge she’s gained from being a member for the last 3 years. Blessing holds an Associate degree in Business Administration and has greatly enjoyed her time as the WAPHV Northeast Regional Representative.

Theresa has worked with volunteers and been a member of WADVS for the past nine years. Her favorite part of WADVS is networking, learning from others, and sharing resources through “Ask the Director”. Theresa earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from UW La Crosse and worked in Human Resources for 21 years prior to entering the world of volunteer services. Her most notable achievement is starting volunteer roles from scratch and growing them into successful programs.

Janelle has been Volunteer Coordinator for 3 years, working with volunteers and as the liaison for the Friends of Vernon Health.  She has worked at Vernon Health for 27 years in Health Information Management and Quality & Compliance and took a leap of faith into the world of Volunteer Coordinator.  She has been a member of WAHVP for 3 years and her  favorite part is being able to tap into all the knowledge and experience that the WAHVP members share. Her biggest accomplishments thus far are bringing Pet Therapy visits to Vernon Health and getting volunteers to take on roles that they never would have seen themselves doing. Her main Clifton Strength is that she is an Includer.

Sara has served as a volunteer coordinator for over 25 years in many different capacities from nursing homes and senior centers to her current position within the hospital.  She has been a member of WAPHV for 3 years.  Her favorite part of WAPHV is the opportunities to connect with so many knowledgeable and creative professionals.  She has enjoyed the friendships and laughter gained from being involved in the conferences and coffee talks.  Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.  An achievement within WAPHV that she is proud of is being part of the conference committee in 2025.

Morgan has worked with volunteers and been a member of WAPHV since 2025. She enjoys interacting with the other members and creating lasting relationships. Morgan obtained a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, and Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work, Sociology, and Communication from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

Carrie has worked with volunteers for almost 8 years and has been a member of WADVS just as long. Carrie loves the networking, support, and the friendships she has made while being a part of WADVS. Carrie has worked for SSM Health St. Clare Hospital for 29 years doing medical transcription for 15 years, as well as being the scheduling supervisor for the Child Care Center associated with the hospital for 6 years. Carrie was honored to be the recipient of the Rural Wisconsin Health Ambassador Award for SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in 2017 in her role as the Volunteer Coordinator.

Kelly Lorenz is the Volunteer Services Manager for the South Region at Froedtert, where she has dedicated the past four years to enhancing volunteer programs and supporting exceptional patient care. With over 20 years of experience in volunteer services—beginning her career at Volunteers of America of Florida.

She is committed to reimagining volunteer engagement through fresh perspectives and forward-thinking strategies, driving positive advancements that strengthen healthcare volunteerism across Wisconsin. Kelly is enthusiastic about collaborating with fellow professionals to elevate the impact of volunteers in healthcare settings and foster a vibrant, inclusive community of service.
